Please note: For the summer break, there will be no teaching from 17 July till 08 September. There may be some TOE sim sessions over the summer, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Usually Tues, Weds & Thurs only, 08:00-08:30 on MS Teams or ELCH Level 1 Walrus.

FREE Formal Echo Teaching
Running every 2-3 weeks on a Tuesday, starting Tuesday 23 June
The sessions will be based around a case with discussions around the finer details of assessment with echo.

Suitable for: Anyone who is learning echo or would like refreshers within the Lifelong CHD Network

Abstract Submission deadline: 15th Sep 2026
We welcome abstract submissions (250–300 words) aligned with the themes of the forum.
Submissions will be peer-reviewed and organised into the following areas:
- Innovation in ACHD Clinical Practice and Service Delivery
- Patient-Centred Care, Quality of Life and Psychosocial Health
- Transition, Lifelong Care and Ageing in ACHD
Accepted abstracts will be included in the symposium abstract booklet to support international collaboration and shared learning.
Paediatric ECG Courses
Essential Paediatric ECG Course – 16 October 2026
A one-day, in-person course in London led by an expert faculty of paediatric electrophysiologists, focusing on the interpretation of ECGs in neonates, infants and children. Through a combination of lectures and multiple small-group interactive workshops, participants will improve their skills in the interpretation of paediatric ECGs and develop a systematic approach to the recognition and management of childhood arrhythmias. Limited to 60 participants.
Audience: Aimed at Paediatric Consultants and Trainees, A&E Consultants and Trainees, PICU Consultants and Trainees, Paediatric Cardiology Trainees, and ANP / Specialist Nurses.

The Bristol ACHD Echo Course
23-24 November 2026
Conference Overview
The course will cover all congenital lesions and aim to provide echo-anatomic correlation through a mixture of lectures, case workshops and morphology sessions. Sessions will be based around lesions and include talks on morphology, intervention and surgery and pre and post-repair echo, delivered by national experts in the field.
Provides:
- Invaluable structured teaching in ACHD echocardiography to cardiologists, cardiac physiologists and echocardiographers
- An ideal introduction to ACHD for all cardiology trainees specialising in imaging
- Comprehensive revision of echocardiography for ACHD specialists (including paediatric cardiologists and trainees with an interest in ACHD)
- A comprehensive curriculum for those preparing for BSE or EACVI accreditation or re-accreditation
- Interest and insight from echo-anatomic correlations and surgical illustrations for anyone working in ACHD
